Ok, the difference is terminology then.  When I hear "custom manifold" I 
think fabrication.  The SDPC TPI base and the StealthRam I think of more as 
a fairly simple swap.  The LT1 throttlebody will fit either intake, and I 
believe it uses the correct IAC and TPS to directly match the Vortec wiring 
harness.  The injector wiring would have to be changed, and possibly a 
couple of wires extended, but that's not a big deal at all.  You'd have to 
do that with the marine intake anyway.  The throttlebody is in a VERY 
different location though, and would require either a cone-style filter or 
some creative ducting to get clean air, and the throttle cable could prove 
to be an issue.

The marine intake would definitely be the easiest route to go...but the 
StealthRam has more potential.  :D
