Hi Roger: Sounds like a runner!
I don't know anything about Moates ECM852 software. I use diacom.
Diacom shows 3 timing values. Total Advance, advance vs reference and
spark retard. These are all shown in degrees. My Tech 1 only shows spark
vs reference so
it's always less the 6 initial and after retard too. If your software
doesn't show all 3 that may
be a problem.
I have my deck set at 7 thousandths, with a .029 head gasket this gives me
.035 deck height too.
