If you insist on tbi units and progressive linkage use a micro switch to
turn the injectors on and off for the inboard and outboard tbi unit. This
should save fuel unless your foot is on the floor which it will be.

You are doing port injection? I don't see another way to
do it with any progressive linkage throttle body.
