[Gmecm] Looking for info on Vortec engine w/crank sensor

I have read and seen pictures where the cover is installed on older blocks.
I can't remember what was involved in it though. I really doubt the marine
setup with norhtstar ignition would take the same reluctor setup as the
regular vortec. I would be interested in knowing all about it though!

Thanks for the info; can this be retrofitted onto a traditional SBC ? Would
the FSM or another source of information help me out?

I was reading today about a Vortec engine for marine applications that uses
the Northstar ignition system, and am intrigued and thinking DIS.

Thanks!
