Thanks Luciano for the tips on cold start system. That seems to be the way to go. I?ll report later about how it works. 

Thanks also David for info about the pre heating grid, i will investigate this further. For now I have a functioning thermostatic air heating control that takes heat from the exhaust manifold and it works fine.
