If you're using CE to as a bank select, I would
suspect that to be the problem. I would dip switch a
static voltage, VCC or sig ground, the CE is an active
signal that would then be causing it to change banks
during run, which I'm sure will throw a code form my
experience of trying to switch banks while running on
other primitive ECMs.
