Backwards :) , the $58 is Sy-Ty, distributor, and the $8F is TGP, DIS.

BTW, the DIS v/s Distributor triggering issue is not a problem, read Shannen 
Durphey's post that Steve Ravet forwarded to the list on Feb.23 this year.

With that posting and help from Bruce Plecan, I'm running DIS on a 1982 I6 BMW 
engine with $8D code (from a V8 'vette, originally with distributor).
