[Gmecm] 1227165 vs 1227808

Thanks Mark, I though that was the case. Can't get mine working. I've Tried it with the $5D program what was in my 808. It does not work. The CEL lamp keeps flickering fast and randomly. Looks like the flickering you get when receiving ALDL data. I can't get a fault code from it and it is not ALDL data. I eventually want to run the $12 program to get 8192 baud ALDL. Any clues as to where it is going wrong? Could it be a dead ECM?

John

    Hi All,
I was lead to believe that the 1227808 was just a 1227165 w/o 8192 baud ALDL and are 100% pin compatible with each other. Can anyone confirm that I should be able to use a 1227165 in place on a 1227808?

    Regards,
    John
