[Gmecm] comments on reorganizing lists

I like the idea of a forum with the option to e-mail the recent posts. Even
if not, I will still frequent the forums. Lots of the posts have nothing to
do with anything I am interested and just fills my inbox with chatter. For
example today, there has been over 20 posts about this subject and has taken
my time to wade through them all and delete the useless info. Also, with a
forum, we could post pics of relevant info without worrying about running
out of bandwidth. I'm all for the forum idea. And those with low speed
connections, join the real world. Even a 28.8 modem should be able to browse
a forum. I just hate looking at my e-mail and seeing 47 posts about who
stole what idea from who. Also, the search option would be nice and keep
re-posts down.

Reading member input can be helpful when noting a preference,
as well as prominent members being influential when choosing.
With pros and cons submitted by Steve along with the preferences
and reasons for by various members, it may even encourage a vote.
Whether it does or not, I'll state there is merit to the phrase "if it ain't
broken don't fix it." I could also add I have no problem with improving
an otherwise good platform. The one lone 'con' that comes to mind
for me, was the recent crash.
