Just did a google search, first thing I found was
http://www.mantapart.com/q4rwd.html that makes an aluminum bell housing to
put that engine into a rear drive application.
as for an actual picture of the back of the engine
http://www.teamlorenz.com/swift_race_car.htm about half way down the page
there are pictures of the flywheel and clutch, also showing the very
different bell housing pattern.
The transmission from a 60 degree v6 is what is needed for a northstar.
This is the first page I saw with info on how to make it fit

using the v6 version of the northstar. Only mod was notching the bell
housing for the starter. In this case also having a custom flywheel made so
it could be a manual. Picture of the set up is half way down the page,
transfer case and all. It's a '53 jeep too.
