[Gmecm] Geting rid of electronic transmission.

Here's a thought. A few years ago I met a guy who put a thm400 in his s10 pickup. For the kickdown he used a 7505 votage regulator, a GM Map sensor, a transistor, and a potentiometer. (I don't know what transistor and resistance of pot he used) After assembly he had a variable kickdown actuator run from manifold vacuum with a 12v output. If you used this with a normally closed relay and brake switch this would work great for a tcc to give you adjustment for where you want it to disengage. I kind of know how he wired it but don't have a wiring diagram and haven't bothered to put the info on paper from my memory banks. I'm sure there are plenty here who could figure it out though.
