Uh, perhaps I should quote what I just wrote:

I.e. instead of a snide remark... maybe a "Yes, what you suggested would 
be safe to do." or a "NO WAY, don't do that it will turn your vehicle 
into a toaster!!, wire it to this (or wire it this way) instead."

However, thank you for the reply... at least I know you exist... if that 
helps me out any?

Anyone else have a constructive comment to share?
