Andrew, sorry about your loss.  It doesn't have to be a complete loss,
though, the memory of your project can be enshrined on the wiki page so
that others contemplating a straight 6 conversion can benefit from what
you learned.  Please think about writing up an article/howto and posting
it.

I agree with Mike -- your brother probably needs a super-double wedgie.
