Well, maybe or maybe not. I would like to find someone who has time to
dedicate to maintaining the WWW pages and lists. They can pretty much
run on autopilot as long as the hosting bill is paid (you may have
noticed the recent loss of the domain because I forgot to send in the
payment -- this happens pretty much every year).

However, I would really like to see the activity level go back to where
it was a few years ago, and I think someone who has the time to do more
than just leave it on autopilot can do that. We haven't had a good
search engine in a long time. The archives are all there, it's just a
matter of connecting the dots. There are probably other possibilities
also for a creative person.

Everyone is probably familiar with how the site is supported. Twice
since the crash back in (2000? I can't remember when it was) I have
sent out low key requests for donations and gotten back enough money to
pay for several years of hosting. There is currently enough money to
pay for hosting for 3 more years so there aren't any concerns about
that. List members have been very generous in the past so getting
contributions together to pay for some kind of development or other
improvement is also a possibility. It's just not anything that I have
time for anymore.

So if you're interested please give me a shout. But first, give serious
consideration to how much time you'll have to put into this activity as
a volunteer.

Thanks to all,
--steve
