[Gmecm] PCM-6 Turbo

from GM themselves, i know of the 16149396 and the 1228707/1228708(those ones i may have a number or two transposed... anyways, i think they were the Quad4 ECMs).
?
i've considered implimenting it, but due to the SRAM being volatile(memory cleared after key-off), the tables that get "emulated" would have to be copied into the RAM area every time the ECM powers up. making a subroutine to have the processor?do this automatically?isn't so bad, and modifying an ALDL routine to accept new calibration data isn't bad either, but the big "problem" is that it's only 2K of RAM.... that doesn't fit a alot of calibration values when you deal with multiple 17 X 17 tables (292 bytes each). currently, there are 3 VE and 3 Spark tables that fit that description. that's already 1,752 bytes from that alone.

Which ECM's have the extra sram in them? ?I have seen a few hacks using ECM's with extra sram to do realtime tuning by putting the AFR and timing advance tables in sram on boot.
Is realtime possible with your code?

i have a rather large thread on the 60degreev6 forums, in the OBD1 tuning section.
?
http://60degreev6.com/forum/showthread.php/48100-nAst1-Progress-and-Concepts-Thread
?
currently 384 posts..... and i know a lot of them are from me, and i tend to get quite wordy, so you may want to set aside a LOT of time if you're going to read through all of it.

Robert, I don't think I have the extra SRAM, I know my ECM is not modified in any way. I remember reading some details about your?nAst1 calibration. Can you refresh my memory on where to read up on it? Thanks,
David

David, if you're running a 16149396 or modded?a 7730/7727 to have the extra SRAM in the 1800-1FFF range, you'll be able to basically copy/paste a lot of your current tune into a nAst1 BIN. it has quite a few features that normal A1 does not have.

Robert, I would love to see this. I have an $A1 turbocharged car now. I re-scaled it for 2-bar and it runs well, but yours sounds like a much better solution!
Thanks,
David

assuming nobody else has, i wouldn't mind sharing the patch i made for nAst1 to allow up to 3BAR support. you may have to do some digging to find where to apply the jump/return locations, but otherwise it's been bench-tested.
?
the way i have it setup now, it accounts for fuel via a 2d table with 10kPa increments to 300kPa as a BPW mulitplier. for spark, i just have a basic "retard vs kPa" table that runs from 100 to 300kPa.

Anyone played with the code for the PCM-6/7427/8625? etc... to allow 2 or 3 bar map for turbo application?
?
I'm running the $0E with MPFI and the 4l80E but thinking of adding a turbo.
I've seen the WB code but haven't seen anyone mention turbo/supercharger addition.
?
Thanks,
