Why not just use a 555 timer IC? ;-)

   Honestly, There isnt much more than that in my Holley Pro-Jection control
computer. And, to add insult to ignorance, it was easy to tune (comparably),
its very reliable, It added 2-3 MPG, and is very responsive.
