The article, http://www.dcc.edu/vettenet/ls1-4.html, about the LS1 engine
indicates that there is some standard that is difficult to meet with a stick
transmission. Apparently GM is the only one able to meet it with high
performance engines and the new Vette will still be available with a stick. me
