Howdy Kalle, and thanks for the lead on Ampro and several others.  Have a
catalog in the basement with my other yet-unpacked electronic's books.  PC104
is a great option, though as I mentioned previously (just now actually) I
have an investment in A/D aquisition cards I want to reuse that investment
for this project.  Unfortunately, the A/D card I have does required +/- 5v
+/- 12V for accurate monitoring, according to the instructions.
