The GM performance parts catalog does carry parts for both the Quad 4
and
the 60 degree V-6. The picken's are pretty slim for the Quad 4
(Rough and machined crankshaft, Ti Con Rods, EFI and non-EFI wiring
harnesses,
cast aluminum dry-sump oil pan, and camshaft blanks)
The 60 degree V-6 is a little better off in terms of real world parts.
In
addition, the Chevy Power Manual has a small section on hopping up the
60 degree V-6. It's kinda out of date, but not too bad.
On a DIY-EFI note:
I have a late EFI Quad-4 with the flash PROM computer. Anybody know
anything
about reprogramming these computers for less than 8 cylinders?
Thanks
