Kerrie,
Yeah, this is geometrically true, however all the plates I have seen have
been manufactured from flat plate with ground edges.
For those who are looking for throttle plates, how about trying plates from
Weber DCOE type carbs?? These are available I'm sure as spares in sizes
40mm, 42, 44, 45, 48, 50, 52mm (from DCOE and IDF models), also smaller
sizes available from progressive twin-choke downdraught models. Angle is
generally approx. 8 degrees.
