You may have some real problems with that, ref 84 Vette, either carb'd
or X-Fire.  If cross fire my suggestion is changing the ECM connectors,
and go with the GM ECM 1227747, there is a program available for 
reprogramming that one, The Turbo Shop (# in archives).    

  Which brings up an interesting question, Edelbrock uses a 1227747 TBI
ECM to drive 8 saturated TPI injectors in groups of four.  Can you use
a TPI type ECM to drive (2) TBI Injectors?, Anyone?.  The TBI injectors
are P+H 2 ohm types, and the TPI saturated are 16, but if all in parr.
works out to 2.
