Hi there,

Opel/Vauxhall engines do have an unconnected socket in the engine bay. The
official workshops have the possibility to connect a coloured (blue, yellow,
red, ...) plug in order to enrich or lean the mixture if the car doesn´t match
the emmision laws. The cars have these sockets independent to the
manufacturer of the ECU (Delco, Siemens, Bosch). Depending on the colour of the
plug the mixture goes rich or lean. This would be a lovely way to increase the
car´s performance output as these cars are fairly too rich and could produce
more power on a lean mixture.

Does anybody know about these plugs and their function?

Regards

Alex from Wenning Motorsport / Germany.
