The input on the ECM as well as the knock sensor are very high impedence,
therefore putting two ECMs in parallel shouldn't be a problem - unless the
ECM provides a voltage to power the knock sensor through the input line.
I'm guessing this *might* be the case, since piezo microphones, which a
knock sensor basically is, can require power, ground in order to provide an
output.  I would imagine its a matter of attaching an ocilloscope and
seeing where the baseline voltage is recorded at.
