I saw this done a while ago, but I don't know if it is safe or not:

In an import performance magazine, I read an article about a turbocharged
Honda Civic with an intercooler. It had a nitrous setup, but not for
injection into the air/fuel mixture, but to cool down the intercooler. I
have seen this done in import drags just before a run. Someone with a
nitrous bottle would spray nitrous all over the intercooler before the car
would run. With the previously mentioned Civic, a spray bar was built in
fitted in front of the intercooler. I believe the whole assembly was to
spray at predetermined rpm's using rpm activated relays.

Is this safe or what?
