DIY glass fibre plenum chamber? Bad idea?

You can use the solubility of polystyrene to your advantage. Make a plug
of Styrofoam and cover it with carbon/kelvlar or glass and high temp cure
epoxy. Vacuum bag the it and heat it to 140 F to cure. And then dissolve
the Styrofoam out with gasoline, acetone or what have you.

Do this outside and be careful.
