Very true... a lot of the aftermarket cats are also non-restrictive.  The
practice of boring out the center with a 2" drill bit also works - leaves
some cat material, reducing its effectiveness, but doesn't kill it
entirely, so I've been told.  Hey, I just like drilling holes :)
