Pining the cyl head.

In the UK magazine Cars and Car conversions, the Technical Editor
modified a Ford Pinto head to take a second set of spark plugs.  He
dyno'ed his engine before and after, and the effects were good.  These
effects are even more marked in engines that run with higher
performance, eg tuned engines, as it is the icing on the cake for long
duration cams,  as the burn is more efficient all the way through the
rev range...
