ahem Bruce what about military aircraft. I believe that it was
dual ignition DOHC and 4 valves per cylinder on some engines.

In the world of WWII technology engines, ie push rod 2
valve, single plug, then from Max Torque to best Max HP
should be a constant AFR, in theory?, or in practice?.
