Whoa, way beyond me, dude. I dunno what you're asking, and I'm
reasonably sure I don't know the answer either.

Join the club. At this point, unless you're of the electrochem
persuasion, all we seem to know is oxygen ions are afraid of raw
electrons (kinda like sheep are of Lassie?), so if you wanna herd oxy
ions, you send some electrons to push them into the breach where the
exhaust gases are. Believe me, that's probably saying more than I really
understand about how the physics/chemistry works. Don't ask any more of
me; as Dirty Harry used to say, "A man's gotta know his limitations".
