You mean that BMW miantain 2 different diagnostic interfaces...
one for J1962 legislation and one for their own use....sounds barmy !

Which do the BMW ealers use for their diagnostics...the 20 pin one I 
guess.

Is BMW the only manufacturer taking this approach or are others doing 
it too ?
