Sort of.  But, bottom link don't drive the car in ALDL, right.

You've got ALDL, Diagnostic, Normal, and System Back-up.
For home mechanic use,  just use Normal, and learn what all is
avalable, to use..  Once you have a grasp of that then the others
will make more sense.  I'm still at Normal, and just work with that.
After a couple hundred hours of one eye driving it will get easier.
one eye on the scanner, one eye on the road.  Makes the drive
to/from work more interesting.  Once you become one with the
scanner and your car, all the little blips get real apparent.
