Subject: Re: TPI on a 305

TPI fire all the injectors once per crank revolution (as in 165/730).
Or all once every 360d of crank rotation.
TBI fires the injectors once per ignition pulse (alternately).
    Or once every 90d
So even 4by4 they are firing twice as often than the TPI's..

Plus all the accleration stuff for a wet manifold.

Once/when totally understood might be able to do
it "properly". VS getting it to run ok. Maybe a no
brainer, but might be lots of grief.

Hope to get more answers about this with the Bench
Cheers
Bruce
ALso, might be nice to use a P4 to run a TBI!!..

>> Edelbrock uses the 7747 pickup ECM and fires the injectors in a 4+4
arrangement for their MAP PFI conversion. There's a good possibility that
you'll need a custom prom when running larger 350 injectors on a 305.
