First general rule is that they screw in using a 18mm threaded hole.
Toyota, and maybe a few others used a resistive type sensor.
Then there are the wide ratio ones, but usually they are 5+wires.
Using a DVM if it generates a .1 to 1.0v (approximates) then
you have a "normal" one.

FWIW, the normal one is not compensatd for EGT so .8v might
mean anything from 11.5:1 to 12.3:1.  Same thing on the lean
end of the scale.
