Fuel Damper ?

mmm - I have a low pressure pump in tank, high prssure outside tank,
leading to damper then fuel filter and loonnnggg pipe to from of car.

I would have thought any relatively high speed noise from the pump
(given its rpm) would have been damped out by the pipes and sections of
flexible hose...

I suppose I could always get a stetch limo and reduce the fuel noise
that way as it would have a veeerryy looonggg fuel pipe ;-)
