Few people have access to being able to do.

This is where indexing helps.
The plug usually is uniform.

The center electrode was

3K that would be normal wear, mostly.
Lots of plugs "start" to lose the corners in a K miles.

  The center electrode had fuel salts on

Describe what your calling fuel salts.  Not sure of what your addressing
Brown balls?.

You might have a bit of "tip in ping"
