It's really kinda a no-brainer once you see it, it's just little macroscopic
balls attaced to the porcelain.

Tip in Ping *can* be non audible.
The only way to find out it exists is thru plug cuts.

 - will mild detonation show up as flecks

The balls are a constant per engine design / specs.
The the more severe, the quicker they accumulate.
May take several episodes for enough to accumulate that you see them.
