have been following this thread and don't really see the benefit in an x86
based ECU, I do however see the benefit in using it for something like a
test bench, where inputs to an ECU could be simulated. are there any
inexpensive 8-channel DAC boards out there that would make this easy (don't
figure for this that ADC would be needed).
