BMW efi...

Hi All,

Sorry guys only just EFI...

I am considering buying a UK spec 1985 BMW 528i (straight 6, coverted to
manual from Auto). I know nothing about BMWs. Minis I know, BMWs I don't. 

So what goes wrong with them? My mech skills with minis are pretty good.
What tools I don't have I can borrow. What are the part costs like? How
easy is it to identify faults with the engine management system?
