MBE Systems ECU

Hi again,
I almost forgot. As I mentioned in my previous post, this Polaris Victory
scoot has a MAF driven MBE Systems model 960 ECU (very British). It looks a
lot like the 967 style unit they have a .PDF file available for from
www.mbesystems.com.

They have a software tool called EasiMap that can be used to generate new
maps, but their agreement with stupid Polaris prohibits them from selling it
to end users, and Polaris isn't much help either. Sheesh. Don't get me
started on this kind of schmitz...

Anyway, is there anyone who might know a way to get a copy of this s/w so a
guy can easily tune his own system without having to reverse engineer it?

Alternatively, I shudder at the thought of adapting another ECU (GM or
EFI332?) unit to the scooter application. Yeow. But the thought of having
an "open" system that would allow me to monkey with it, is compelling
indeed.

Oh yeah, I also happen to be an embedded system design engineer, with a fair
degree of turbine engine ECU experience FWIW.

Thoughts?
Thanks again.
