I don't know if this will help but all of the vane type air meters I have
played with output approximately 2.75v at no air flow and as the vane starts
to move it outputs 0-5v.

I would be grateful if anyone has the following  data  for the Motronics
ECU as used on a BMW  525 , specifically the resistance range of the AFM
pot, whether it increases or decreases as the flap opens  and the  number
of position sensing  teeth on the flywheel  .  I am planning to replace the
Lucas ECU as fitted to a Rover V8 EFI .
