Sorry. They may not be the same.

However, the Golf GTI (77kW and upwards) shares the same injector
with some Audi Quattro (147kW) cars.

Sounds complicated. Why don't you use the metering head off the
K-Jet (without airflow meter) and alter the position of the control
plunger electronically?

True. The tricky bit is getting the actuator to work properly.
