Hi guys,
I will help with assembling up to 5 boards for those that do not feel
confident enough with an iron. A word of caution to temper some of the
chatter on this subject. I hang out mostly on the efi332 list and do the web
page there. We had a huge group buy a couple of years ago and a guy that got
in way over his head offering to assemble boards for a rediculously low fee.
Some of you who also frequent that list will know what I am talking about.
An offer to build boards adds up to alot of work when you consider that they
can consume about an hour each to assemble (my estimate from the pic of the
board on the website). Hence my limited offer.
I will do these five gratis but I personally do not see the harm in anyone
extending an offer for extended services for a nominal fee each. And for
those that might jump to conclusions ... no, I am not interested in doing
more than a few here to help out ... for any amount of fee. Certainly,
getting rich off of this is not part of the charter of this group but the
knowledge base of the group as a whole may benefit if one or more that can
solder help get units into the hands of folks that may be great tuners, even
if it involves partial compensation.
If anyone is interested, I'll take emails on a first come first served basis.
jc
