Rolling average; the latest byte is replaces the oldest previous byte of
five saved bytes, average of these is the reported figure.  IOW, five
successive WB data bytes are saved, the oldest is replaced w/ the latest,
average taken & reported.  Just seems like there should be a 'neater' way.
