Using a knock sensor from one engine on another

here are a couple of good apc sources--
i was actually also planning on using this system on my audi-- a little old 
lady totaled my 89 900t and i bought it back (400$)and chopped the 
fuel/ignition/apc stuff (along with a bunch of other things.. turbo, 
intercooler, etc etc) before sending it to the yard...
