Hi J=F6rgen / Mike D

Are the wastegates internal or external?
The HKS GT2530 has an internal wastegate.

Are any electronic boost control used?
The car uses an HKS EVC IV boost controller.

How does the intake plumbing from the two turbos merge?
There are two exhaust manifolds, one for each bank of three ( 6 cyl =
in-line ) going to the turbos.
The turbo outlets merge as the pipework runs forward to the =
intercoooler.

Another question is do the turbos have a compressor recirculation valve. =
 It
sounds like the system is near the surge limit and the two are getting =
into
a harmonic.
There car uses airflow meters which also necessitates a re-circulating =
dump valve set-up.

I disconnected the vacuum line to the dump valves yesterday and this =
seems to have taken away a large part of the problem - though not all.

It may be there is some linkage with the turbo shuffle starting and the =
dump valves responding.

As the problem is most obvious between .2 and .8 bar boost, how is the =
vacuum line to the dump valves being activated.

Thanks for the responses.

Hugh
