And burned in a fuel cell to make electricity to re-charge the battery.
Only reason they are doing it this way is because they are still puzzling
over ways to keep the catalysts in the fuel cells from coking up when they
put hydrocarbon fuels through them!

BUT--progress is being made, and then, as per usual, liquid hydrocarbon
fuels will STILL offer the best overall energy density and efficiency!

Those fuel reformers are _FAR_ from 100% efficient!
