I think that your assumption is wrong. I can not confirm it, but I don't
think that you can even buy non hardened valves (@ least not here in
California). we have not had lead for so long now that most people don't
know the difference.

Thanks everyone who replied. Am I correct in assuming these do NOT have
hardened valve seats from the manufacturer, I am running unleaded and need
the hardened valve seats. I haven't been able to get hold of the seller to
verify this point.
