That's right, Geoff, 'reductio ad absoidum' (that's how the Three Stooges
would put it :). No place for a smaller-than-all-humanity group of people
who agree not to profit or throw money into the mix. Like, if you paid
your friends for every beer they 'gave' you? Right. Yes, let's make
everything about money down to the very last nickle.

You are basically saying that it's absurd to say in a community of people
(subset of all humanity), "OK, I'm going to give this to you for free, so
I don't want to see anyone else charging for it either; and let's also
agree that any derivatives or add-ons are also free in the same no-charge
way".

So I guess Geoff you would like to see *everything* imply a monetary
exchange or profit? Well, hell then we are *all* vendors that should
charge each other for the perceived value of each post we make that has
some value or exchange of useful info in it?

What you think you are avoiding, is what you are promoting with this line
of argument, Geoff.
