Sheilding on Diy-WB connector wires

This is some interesting information. Were you able to check if the copper
braid was grounded at either end? It is this DIY research that enabled
the development of the DIY-WB.  The yellow - heater wire would typically
be tied to ground. The cal resistor wires being shielded would help prevent
noise from directly entering the calibration circuit.

This is something that should be kept in mind while building cables for the
DIY-WB. Thanks for the info. If you could find out more it would be helpful.
