[Diy_efi] WB controller

So what is your problem with my original post? I am a big boy and can take the
heat just make a lousy door mat that's all. There is no way that someone new to
this list can have even the slightest idea of what the history is on a subject
even with the archives. i don't think we have ever met so there ought not be any
personal issues. All i asked about was if there is any validity to the posts
that were negative about the WB O2 project. I did not think there was much basis
for them but did not want to read anything either into or out of the messages.
if you are suggesting that someone would send me "multipul" e-mails from the
same machine to make me feel good about asking a question I hate to burst your
bubble but they all suggested that the WB O2 was a nice piece and yes i should
order the board and parts and will be happy with it. The application is for a
SBC with nitrous that runs at the Bonneville Salt flats for the sheer joy of it
all. It is a little tough on the parts to do a 35 second plus burn on the
nitrous so i thought this was a low buck way to save the engine and the owners
pocketbook cause we are fresh out of money at this time.................. You
are right in one respect if I buy a commercial unit there are several things
that would be different. I would not get read the riot act for asking a
question. I would not be talked to in a condescending manner. and i am real sure
the attitude would be professional. i have no clue as to how you fit into the
bigger picture in this list or the racing world but there is on thing I am sure
of you are truly a "legend in your own mind". i have deduced from the archives
that you race a GN that's great the next time you need to run the 24 hours of
daytona and need some induction parts call me cause i build the injection for
some cars that have won on several occasions as well as season championships and
manufacturer championships.... Got into that after doing some design work for
Winston Cup Cars, cylinder heads and intakes for about 10 years, did some design
work for AC Rochester, managed the engine production for the Callaway Corvettes,
and set a few world speed records just for the fun of it... I am semi retired
now and just play with some of this stuff for the fun of it. Thought this might
be a nice place to hang out and see what goes on and maybe learn a little and
share a little, but sure don't need the attitude that goes with it. Hell i was
thinking of running a mega squirt to set a record just to prove you don't need
to spend a zillion bucks to go fast and have some fun.
Have a great day!
Dave
